Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lavash bread - 2 pieces
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into long kebabs, about 15 cm in length.
- Preheat a grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. Cook the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- While the kebabs are grilling, heat the tomato sauce in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. Once warmed, remove from heat.
- Once the kebabs are cooked through, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To serve, place a kebab on each piece of lavash bread, drizzle with warm tomato sauce, and add a dollop of Greek yogurt on top.
- Wrap the lavash around the kebab and serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
