Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lavash bread - 2 pieces
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into long kebabs, about 15 cm in length.
  3. Preheat a grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. Cook the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  4. While the kebabs are grilling, heat the tomato sauce in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. Once warmed, remove from heat.
  5. Once the kebabs are cooked through, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. To serve, place a kebab on each piece of lavash bread, drizzle with warm tomato sauce, and add a dollop of Greek yogurt on top.
  7. Wrap the lavash around the kebab and serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
