- Lamb shoulder - 250 grams, diced
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Carrot - 1 medium, diced
- Potato - 1 medium, diced
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 600 milliliters
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced lamb and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the diced carrot, potato, and green bell pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the diced tomato, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 25 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice just before serving.
