Ingredients

  • Cantaloupe - 300 grams
  • Sugar - 100 grams
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped walnuts - 30 grams
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Rose water - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Peel and cube the cantaloupe into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the cantaloupe cubes to the syrup and reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until the cantaloupe is tender.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in rose water and ground cinnamon.
