- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
- Black olives - 30 grams, sliced
- Fresh basil - a few leaves for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.
- In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice or fine crumbs.
- Transfer the processed cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower, egg, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming a round pizza crust about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Top with diced bell peppers, sliced black olives, and additional mozzarella cheese if desired.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh basil before slicing and serving.
