- Cauliflower - 400 grams
- Butter - 30 grams
- Heavy cream - 60 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Begin by cutting the cauliflower into florets and rinsing them under cold water.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until tender.
- While the cauliflower is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Drain the cooked cauliflower and transfer it to a food processor. Add the melted butter with garlic, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and ground cumin.
- Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then transfer the karnabahar püresi to serving plates.
