Ingredients
- Yufka (thin pastry sheets) - 4 sheets
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Chopped spinach - 150 grams
- Chopped green onions - 50 grams
- Chopped parsley - 30 grams
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, green onions, parsley, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Lay one sheet of yufka on a clean surface and brush it lightly with olive oil.
- Place another sheet of yufka on top and brush it again with olive oil.
- Spoon a portion of the spinach mixture along one edge of the layered yufka, then roll it tightly into a log shape.
- Curve the rolled yufka into a spiral and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Repeat the process with the remaining yufka and filling to create additional spirals.
- Brush the tops of the spirals with olive oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
