Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  2. Wash the tomatoes and slice them in half horizontally.
  3. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, black pepper, oregano, and lemon juice.
  4. Brush the cut sides of the tomatoes with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Place the tomatoes cut-side down on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes until charred and softened.
  6. Flip the tomatoes and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
