Ingredients

  • Coconut flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil (for frying) - 100 ml
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon wedges (for serving) - 1 lemon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten.
  2. In another bowl, combine coconut flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each shrimp into the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it in the coconut flour mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coating.
  4. Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Fry the coated shrimp in batches, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
