- Pomegranate molasses - 1 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the fine bulgur wheat with boiling water, cover, and let it absorb for about 15 minutes until the bulgur is soft.
- Fluff the bulgur with a fork, then add the diced tomato, cucumber, red bell pepper, green onion, parsley, and mint.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and pomegranate molasses if using.
- Pour the dressing over the bulgur mixture and toss everything together until well combined.
- Let the kısır sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
