- Fine bulgur - 100 grams
- Boiling water - 150 ml
- Fresh parsley - 30 grams, finely chopped
- Fresh mint - 15 grams, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Cucumber - 1 small, diced
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Pomegranate molasses - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, place the fine bulgur and pour the boiling water over it. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and let it sit for about 15 minutes until the bulgur absorbs the water and becomes tender.
- Once the bulgur has cooled and fluffed up, add the chopped parsley, mint, diced tomato, cucumber, and green onion to the bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the bulgur mixture and gently toss everything together until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Let the kısır sit for about 5 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
