Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, diced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into small, oval-shaped meatballs, about 2-3 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
  4. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the salad. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced cucumber, diced tomato, remaining olive oil, lemon juice, and crumbled feta cheese. Toss gently to mix.
  5. Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the skillet and serve hot alongside the cucumber and tomato salad.
