  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Ground lamb - 100 grams
  • Fresh parsley - 30 grams, finely chopped
  • Onion - 1 small, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon - 1, for serving

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, finely chopped parsley, grated onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until well combined, then shape the mixture into small oval meatballs (about 5 cm in length).
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle the olive oil over the meatballs to help them brown while baking.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
