- Ground beef - 250 grams

- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 100 ml
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, black pepper, paprika, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into small oval patties, approximately 5 cm in length.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the köfte and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
- In a separate small saucepan, heat the remaining olive oil over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the tomato paste and water, mixing well. Allow the sauce to simmer for 5 minutes, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the köfte warm, drizzled with the garlic sauce, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
