Ingredients

  • Parsley - 30 grams, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, diced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Red bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties (about 75 grams each).
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the salad by combining diced cucumber, tomato, and red bell pepper in a bowl.
  5. Drizzle the salad with lemon juice and the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to combine.
  6. Serve the cooked köfte on a plate alongside the fresh salad. Top with crumbled feta cheese if desired.
