- Parsley - 30 grams, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cucumber - 1 medium, diced
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Red bell pepper - 1 small, diced
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties (about 75 grams each).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the salad by combining diced cucumber, tomato, and red bell pepper in a bowl.
- Drizzle the salad with lemon juice and the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to combine.
- Serve the cooked köfte on a plate alongside the fresh salad. Top with crumbled feta cheese if desired.
