Ingredients

  • Ground beef (lean) - 250 grams
  • Ground lamb - 150 grams
  • Onion (finely grated) - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (if wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer to form elongated kebabs.
  4. Preheat a grill or barbecue to a medium-high heat.
  5. Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely browned.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
