- Ground lamb - 150 grams
- Onion (finely grated) - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers - 4 (if wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer to form elongated kebabs.
- Preheat a grill or barbecue to a medium-high heat.
- Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely browned.
- Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
