  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Onion - 1 small, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Whole wheat lavash - 2 pieces
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2 small, thinly sliced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine lean ground beef, parsley, grated onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into two patties about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and browned.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the vegetables by slicing the tomato, cucumber, and red onion.
  5. In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt with lemon juice to create a tangy sauce.
  6. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. To assemble the Köfte Dürüm Burger, lay a piece of lavash flat, place a köfte patty on top, and add sliced vegetables.
  8. Drizzle with the yogurt sauce, then wrap the lavash around the filling to create a roll.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy Köfte Dürüm Burger!
