Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons, for cooking
  • Lettuce leaves - 4, for serving
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare your serving plates with lettuce leaves as a base. Top each lettuce leaf with a cooked patty, followed by slices of tomato and cucumber.
