Ingredients

  • Sea bass (Çipura) - 2 fillets (about 250g each)
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200g, halved
  • Bell pepper (red or yellow) - 1, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh dill - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade.
  3. Add the sea bass fillets to the marinade, coating them well. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
  4. On a baking tray, arrange the sliced red onion, bell pepper, and halved cherry tomatoes evenly.
  5. Place the marinated sea bass fillets on top of the vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped parsley and dill over the fish and vegetables.
  7. Drizzle any leftover marinade over the dish.
  8. Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs if desired.
