Ingredients

  • Sea bream (Çipura) - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Lemon - 1 medium, sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Water - 250 ml

Steps

  1. Clean and gut the sea bream, then rinse it under cold water and pat it dry.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the sliced red bell pepper and zucchini to the pan, cooking for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Place the sea bream in the pan on top of the vegetables, then layer the halved cherry tomatoes and lemon slices on top of the fish.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped parsley, dill, salt, and black pepper over the fish and vegetables.
  6. Pour the water into the pan, cover it with a lid, and reduce the heat to low.
  7. Steam the fish and vegetables for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional fresh herbs if desired.
