Ingredients
- Sea bream (Çipura) - 400 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
- Lemon - 1 medium, sliced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 250 ml
Steps
- Clean and gut the sea bream, then rinse it under cold water and pat it dry.
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the sliced red bell pepper and zucchini to the pan, cooking for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.
- Place the sea bream in the pan on top of the vegetables, then layer the halved cherry tomatoes and lemon slices on top of the fish.
- Sprinkle the chopped parsley, dill, salt, and black pepper over the fish and vegetables.
- Pour the water into the pan, cover it with a lid, and reduce the heat to low.
- Steam the fish and vegetables for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional fresh herbs if desired.
