Steps
- Melt the dark dairy-free chocolate and coconut oil together in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt until well combined.
- Add the roasted hazelnuts to the chocolate mixture and stir gently to coat each hazelnut evenly.
- Using a fork or a slotted spoon, remove the coated hazelnuts from the chocolate and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle any remaining chocolate over the hazelnuts if desired, then refrigerate for about 10 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
