Ingredients

  • Roasted hazelnuts - 100 grams
  • Dark dairy-free chocolate - 100 grams
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Sea salt - a pinch
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Melt the dark dairy-free chocolate and coconut oil together in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt until well combined.
  3. Add the roasted hazelnuts to the chocolate mixture and stir gently to coat each hazelnut evenly.
  4. Using a fork or a slotted spoon, remove the coated hazelnuts from the chocolate and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle any remaining chocolate over the hazelnuts if desired, then refrigerate for about 10 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  6. Serve the Çikolatalı Fındık chilled or at room temperature, enjoying them as a sweet snack or dessert.
