- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium
- Red onion - 1 medium
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 3 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the chicken marinates, chop the red and green bell peppers and red onion into chunks.
- Preheat the grill or barbecue over medium-high heat.
- Once the chicken has marinated, thread the chicken, bell peppers, and onion onto the soaked wooden skewers alternately.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy hot!
