Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium
  • Red onion - 1 medium
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While the chicken marinates, chop the red and green bell peppers and red onion into chunks.
  5. Preheat the grill or barbecue over medium-high heat.
  6. Once the chicken has marinated, thread the chicken, bell peppers, and onion onto the soaked wooden skewers alternately.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy hot!
