- Granulated sugar - 100 grams
- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Ground walnuts - 50 grams
- Butter - 30 grams, melted
- Milk - 100 ml
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut flakes - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated carrots, granulated sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, ground walnuts, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the carrot mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased small baking dish (approximately 20x20 cm).
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares.
