Ingredients

  • Carrots - 200 grams, grated
  • Granulated sugar - 100 grams
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Ground walnuts - 50 grams
  • Butter - 30 grams, melted
  • Milk - 100 ml
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coconut flakes - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated carrots, granulated sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, ground walnuts, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the carrot mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased small baking dish (approximately 20x20 cm).
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
