  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon, for serving - 1 wedge

Steps

  1. Cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef or lamb to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, diced red bell pepper, and green chili (if using). Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the peppers soften.
  5. Season the mixture with turmeric, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
