- Green chili, diced - 1 small (optional)
- Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon, for serving - 1 wedge
Steps
- Cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef or lamb to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the tomato paste, diced red bell pepper, and green chili (if using). Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the peppers soften.
- Season the mixture with turmeric, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked gluten-free pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Serve hot with a wedge of lemon on the side.
