Ingredients

  • Gluten-free all-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Water - 50 ml
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt - 150 grams
  • Dried mint - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter - 30 grams

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, egg, water, and salt to form a dough. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef, black pepper, and paprika to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface until thin (about 2 mm). Cut into squares (about 5 cm x 5 cm).
  5. Place a small spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners over to form a closed dumpling shape, pinching the edges to seal.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Arrange the dumplings in a greased baking dish.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste with a little water to create a sauce. Pour this sauce over the dumplings.
  8. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the dumplings. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. While the dumplings are baking, mix the yogurt with dried mint in a bowl.
  10. Serve the baked dumplings hot, topped with the yogurt mixture.
