- Gluten-free all-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Water - 50 ml
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt - 150 grams
- Dried mint - 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter - 30 grams
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, egg, water, and salt to form a dough. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef, black pepper, and paprika to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface until thin (about 2 mm). Cut into squares (about 5 cm x 5 cm).
- Place a small spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners over to form a closed dumpling shape, pinching the edges to seal.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Arrange the dumplings in a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste with a little water to create a sauce. Pour this sauce over the dumplings.
- Melt the butter and drizzle it over the dumplings. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- While the dumplings are baking, mix the yogurt with dried mint in a bowl.
- Serve the baked dumplings hot, topped with the yogurt mixture.
