- Crushed pistachios - 50 grams

- Parsley (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Whole grain burger buns - 2
- Tomato (sliced) - 1 medium
- Cucumber (sliced) - 1 small
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crushed pistachios, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, slice the whole grain buns and toast them lightly on a separate pan if desired.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked patty, sliced tomato, and cucumber. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with your favorite healthy sides.
