- Crushed pistachios - 50 grams

- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Whole grain bread rolls - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Yogurt - 100 grams (for serving)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crushed pistachios, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice brown crust.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the bread rolls by slicing them in half and lightly toasting them if desired.
- Assemble the Fıstıklı Köfte by placing a lettuce leaf at the bottom of each bread roll, followed by a cooked patty and slices of tomato. Top with a dollop of yogurt.
