  • Whole grain bread rolls - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Yogurt - 100 grams (for serving)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crushed pistachios, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice brown crust.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the bread rolls by slicing them in half and lightly toasting them if desired.
  5. Assemble the Fıstıklı Köfte by placing a lettuce leaf at the bottom of each bread roll, followed by a cooked patty and slices of tomato. Top with a dollop of yogurt.
