Ingredients

  • Feta cheese - 100 grams
  • Cream cheese - 50 grams
  • Roasted red bell peppers - 50 grams, chopped
  • Green bell pepper - 30 grams, finely chopped
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Gluten-free flour - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the feta cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add in the roasted red bell peppers, green bell pepper, red chili flakes, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the gluten-free flour and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
  5. Add the beaten egg and olive oil into the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  6. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle shape, about 1 cm thick.
  7. Spread the cheese and pepper mixture evenly over the dough.
  8. Roll the dough tightly into a log shape and slice it into 4 equal pieces.
  9. Place the pieces upright in a greased baking dish.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
