Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 300 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and almond flour. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Shape the meat mixture into long kebab-like logs, about 3 cm wide and 10 cm long.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the kebabs for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the seared kebabs to a baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce over the kebabs and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the meat is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
- Serve hot, topped with a dollop of Greek yogurt.
