Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and almond flour. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into long kebab-like logs, about 3 cm wide and 10 cm long.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the kebabs for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Transfer the seared kebabs to a baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce over the kebabs and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the meat is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
  7. Serve hot, topped with a dollop of Greek yogurt.
