Ingredients

  • Whole fish (such as sea bass or trout) - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon slices - 2 slices for garnish

Steps

  1. Begin by cleaning the fish and patting it dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create a marinade.
  3. Rub the marinade generously over the fish, making sure to coat the inside of the cavity as well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Place the fish on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices and extra parsley if desired.
