Ingredients
- Yufka (Turkish pastry sheets) - 4 sheets
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, ricotta cheese, chopped parsley, chopped dill, beaten egg, black pepper, and salt, mixing well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Lay one sheet of yufka on a clean surface and brush it lightly with olive oil. Place another sheet on top and brush it again with olive oil.
- Take about 1/4 of the cheese mixture and spread it along one edge of the layered yufka sheets.
- Roll the yufka tightly around the filling to form a log shape, then curl it into a spiral.
- Repeat the process with the remaining yufka sheets and filling.
- Place the spirals on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
