Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 200 grams
  • Coconut flour - 30 grams
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Coconut oil - 50 grams, melted
  • Almond milk - 60 ml
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, honey, melted coconut oil, and almond milk until fully combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more almond flour.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a round bun.
  6. Place the buns on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with a little extra melted coconut oil.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each bun.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
