  • Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes

  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, yogurt, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, chopped parsley, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, packing them closely together.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
