Ingredients

  • Broccoli - 100g
  • Carrot - 50g (sliced thinly)
  • Red bell pepper - 50g (sliced)
  • Snow peas - 50g
  • Baby corn - 50g (cut into halves)
  • Garlic - 3 cloves (minced)
  • Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon (grated)
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lime - 1 (juiced)
  • Fresh basil - 10g (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Prepare all the vegetables by washing and cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli, carrot, red bell pepper, snow peas, and baby corn to the pan, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes until they are just tender but still crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, and season with black pepper. Stir well to coat the vegetables evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lime juice over the stir-fry.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
