Ingredients

  • Coconut milk - 400 ml
  • Agar-agar powder - 2 tsp
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Pandan leaves (optional) - 1-2 leaves

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water, agar-agar powder, and sugar. Stir well and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the agar-agar is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the coconut milk and a pinch of salt to the saucepan. If using pandan leaves, tie them into a knot and add them to the mixture for flavor.
  4. Stir the mixture continuously and bring it back to a gentle boil. Remove from heat after about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour the mixture into small molds or cups and let it cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  6. Once cooled, transfer the molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  7. To serve, gently remove the jelly from the molds and enjoy chilled.
