- Coconut milk - 400 ml
- Agar-agar powder - 2 tsp
- Water - 200 ml
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Pandan leaves (optional) - 1-2 leaves
Steps
- In a saucepan, combine the water, agar-agar powder, and sugar. Stir well and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the agar-agar is fully dissolved.
- Add the coconut milk and a pinch of salt to the saucepan. If using pandan leaves, tie them into a knot and add them to the mixture for flavor.
- Stir the mixture continuously and bring it back to a gentle boil. Remove from heat after about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into small molds or cups and let it cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Once cooled, transfer the molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- To serve, gently remove the jelly from the molds and enjoy chilled.
