  • Soy sauce (low sodium) - 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut sugar substitute - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Red chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Fresh mint - a handful, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, coconut sugar substitute, minced garlic, and chopped red chili to make the marinade.
  2. Slice the beef sirloin thinly against the grain and add it to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking.
  4. While the beef is cooking, prepare the salad by combining sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion in a large bowl.
  5. Once the beef is done, let it rest for a few minutes before adding it to the salad bowl.
  6. Add chopped cilantro and mint to the salad, then toss everything together gently.
  7. Serve the salad on a bed of lettuce leaves for a fresh presentation.
