- Coconut milk - 1/4 cup (60ml)
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Peanuts - 2 tablespoons, crushed (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then cut it into thick slices or 'steaks'.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, red chili flakes, and coconut milk to create a marinade.
- Brush the marinade generously on both sides of the cauliflower slices.
- Let the cauliflower marinate for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the marinated cauliflower on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until tender and charred.
