Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Coconut milk - 50 ml
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Red bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Thai basil leaves - 30 grams, plus extra for garnish
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon, optional
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking tray.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the rolled-out pizza dough.
  4. In another bowl, combine the tomato sauce, coconut milk, soy sauce, lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread this sauce evenly over the dough.
  5. Top the pizza with sliced red bell pepper, mushrooms, and red onion.
  6. Sprinkle the Thai basil leaves over the vegetables, reserving a few for garnish.
  7. If desired, sprinkle chili flakes over the top for added heat.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the vegetables are tender.
