  • Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • fish sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • bread crumbs - 50 grams
  • egg - 1 large
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • burger buns - 2
  • avocado, sliced - 1/2
  • plain Greek yogurt - 4 tablespoons
  • green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, lime juice, fish sauce, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Using your hands, form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly oil the grill or skillet to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook the shrimp patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the shrimp patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with sliced avocado, a dollop of Greek yogurt, and chopped green onions.
  7. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
