- shrimp, peeled and deveined - 300 grams
- Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
- garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- fish sauce - 1 teaspoon
- bread crumbs - 50 grams
- egg - 1 large
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- burger buns - 2
- avocado, sliced - 1/2
- plain Greek yogurt - 4 tablespoons
- green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, lime juice, fish sauce, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Preheat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly oil the grill or skillet to prevent sticking.
- Cook the shrimp patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the shrimp patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with sliced avocado, a dollop of Greek yogurt, and chopped green onions.
- Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
