- salmon fillet - 250 grams
- Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
- lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- garlic, minced - 1 clove
- green onion, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- egg - 1 large
- breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- burger buns - 2
- lettuce leaves - 2
- sliced cucumber - 1/2 cup
- sliced tomato - 1/2 cup
- avocado - 1/2, sliced
Steps
- Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
- In a bowl, finely chop the salmon fillet and combine it with Sriracha sauce, lime juice, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onion, chopped cilantro, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined and form the mixture into two patties.
- Place the patties on the grill or pan, cooking for about 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through and golden brown.
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a separate pan until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the salmon patty, sliced cucumber, sliced tomato, and avocado.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
