Ingredients

  • salmon fillet - 250 grams
  • Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • green onion, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • egg - 1 large
  • breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • burger buns - 2
  • lettuce leaves - 2
  • sliced cucumber - 1/2 cup
  • sliced tomato - 1/2 cup
  • avocado - 1/2, sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, finely chop the salmon fillet and combine it with Sriracha sauce, lime juice, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onion, chopped cilantro, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients until well combined and form the mixture into two patties.
  4. Place the patties on the grill or pan, cooking for about 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a separate pan until golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the salmon patty, sliced cucumber, sliced tomato, and avocado.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
