- 200g ground chicken
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 whole grain burger buns
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Sriracha sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
