- Ground turkey or chicken - 300 grams
- Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 2
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey or chicken, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
