- Pizza dough - 1 medium (about 250g)
- Firm tofu - 200g, pressed and cubed
- Peanut butter - 2 tablespoons (30g)
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Sriracha - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Coconut milk - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Fresh basil leaves - 10g, chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (15g), for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, soy sauce, sriracha, and coconut milk until smooth to create the spicy sauce.
- In a separate bowl, toss the cubed tofu with half of the spicy sauce, coating it evenly. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the remaining spicy sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Distribute the marinated tofu, sliced bell pepper, and red onion evenly over the pizza.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves and sesame seeds.
- Slice and serve hot with a squeeze of lime juice on top.
