Ingredients

  • Ground pork - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced

  • Red chili paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced for salad
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon for salad

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, chopped shallots, red chili paste, fish sauce, cilantro, lime juice, black pepper, and red chili flakes. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small patties, about 5 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil if necessary.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and browned.
  5. While the sausages are cooking, prepare a simple cucumber salad by tossing sliced cucumber with sesame oil and a pinch of salt.
