- red chili, minced - 1

- whole wheat breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- whole grain burger buns - 2
- cabbage, shredded - 50 grams
- carrot, grated - 1 small
- mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- lime zest - 1 teaspoon
- salt - to taste
- pepper - to taste
- olive oil - for cooking
Steps
- In a food processor, blend the shrimp, garlic, red chili, cilantro, lime juice, fish sauce, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until well combined but still slightly chunky.
- Form the mixture into two burger patties and refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.
- While the patties chill, prepare the slaw by mixing the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, mayonnaise, lime zest, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp patties for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Toast the whole grain burger buns lightly on the skillet.
