Ingredients
- King oyster mushrooms - 200 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Chili paste (Nam Prik Pao) - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Clean the mushrooms and slice them into 1 cm thick pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, chili paste, minced garlic, brown sugar, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the marinade and toss to coat well. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Once marinated, place the mushrooms on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
