  • Fresh crab meat - 150 grams, cooked
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Bird's eye chili - 1, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Palm sugar - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Peanuts - 30 grams, crushed
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Thai basil - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green papaya, cherry tomatoes, and green beans.
  2. In a mortar and pestle, pound the minced garlic and chopped chili into a paste.
  3. Add the paste to the bowl with the vegetables, then add the lime juice, fish sauce, and palm sugar.
  4. Toss the mixture well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
  5. Gently fold in the fresh crab meat to avoid breaking it apart.
  6. Top the salad with crushed peanuts, chopped cilantro, and Thai basil.
