- Pork mince - 250 grams
- Peanut butter - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Coriander - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1, grated
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Sriracha sauce - for serving
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pork mince, peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped coriander, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings by slicing the cucumber and grating the carrot.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the pork patty, sliced cucumber, and grated carrot. Drizzle with Sriracha sauce and place the top bun on.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side.
