Ingredients

  • Rice paper wrappers - 8 sheets
  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 100 grams
  • Squid, cleaned and cut into rings - 100 grams
  • Fish fillet (like tilapia), cut into strips - 100 grams
  • Cabbage, finely shredded - 50 grams
  • Carrot, julienned - 50 grams
  • Bean sprouts - 50 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Fresh coriander, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut oil - for frying
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp, squid, fish fillet, garlic, lime juice, fish sauce, salt, and pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, carrot, bean sprouts, and coriander.
  3. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper in the water for about 10 seconds until softened, then lay it flat on a clean surface.
  4. Place a small amount of the marinated seafood mixture and a handful of the vegetable mix onto the bottom third of the wrapper. Fold the sides over and roll tightly to enclose the filling. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  5. Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
