  • Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Green bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetarian oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Chili paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil - 10 leaves, for garnish

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. Coat the tofu cubes lightly with cornstarch.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  5. In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add the sliced red and green bell peppers, julienned carrot, and sliced mushrooms to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
