Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower - 500 grams
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil - 30 ml
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder - 5 grams
  • 1 teaspoon salt - 5 grams
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper - 2 grams
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter - 60 grams
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce - 30 ml
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup - 15 ml
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice - 15 ml
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil - 5 ml
  • 1 tablespoon water - 15 ml
  • Chopped cilantro - for garnish
  • Chopped peanuts - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into thick slices, about 2.5 cm each.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the cauliflower slices.
  4. Place the cauliflower slices on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are tender and have grill marks.
  5. While the cauliflower is grilling, prepare the peanut sauce by combining peanut butter, soy sauce, maple syrup, lime juice, sesame oil, and water in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  6. Once the cauliflower is done grilling, remove it from the grill and drizzle the peanut sauce generously over each slice.
  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro and chopped peanuts before serving.
