Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower - 500 grams
- 2 tablespoons olive oil - 30 ml
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder - 5 grams
- 1 teaspoon salt - 5 grams
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper - 2 grams
- 1/4 cup peanut butter - 60 grams
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce - 30 ml
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup - 15 ml
- 1 tablespoon lime juice - 15 ml
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil - 5 ml
- 1 tablespoon water - 15 ml
- Chopped cilantro - for garnish
- Chopped peanuts - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into thick slices, about 2.5 cm each.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the cauliflower slices.
- Place the cauliflower slices on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are tender and have grill marks.
- While the cauliflower is grilling, prepare the peanut sauce by combining peanut butter, soy sauce, maple syrup, lime juice, sesame oil, and water in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Once the cauliflower is done grilling, remove it from the grill and drizzle the peanut sauce generously over each slice.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and chopped peanuts before serving.
